I actually agree with a lot of what you have said. I learnt at a young age(~10years old) that lying is not a good way to live one's life. I try to be truthful in all that i do but i sometimes do not live up to this high standard- all humans have their failings. The problem here is that Holcomb is lying , not me. I applaud people who work hard to achieve their goals but when the goal is absolutely, utterly ruled out by the basic laws of science, then i call hoax. Again i repeat that Holcomb's gizmo has never, ever been subject to a fully independent test and never will be.
