There is nothing in the Constitution that prevents the Democratic Party from making Vice President Kamala Harris its nominee. That process is determined by the Democratic National Committee.

There's nothing in the Constitution dealing with a parties primary process. A party can choose a candidate by flipping a coin if they want. The Constitution deals with the General Election.
