Says right in the press release they will be changing the name in Delaware (where KG is incorporated).

Additionally, the company has retained legal counsel to assist in executing the name and symbol change with FINRA. The legal team will also handle the application for the new name with the Secretary of State of Delaware to formalize the transition.

Name change at the state level comes before the request to FINRA.

To change the name and symbol of a company, a corporate action must be filed with FINRA after a change of name is filed with the Secretary of State in the state in which the business is incorporated.
