Or more accurately - pseudo-science. The so-called 'science' is merely used to justify the broader agenda (Agenda 21). Building a global government system is the goal, but to justify this requires a global problem. 'Climate change' fits the bill perfectly - a scary global problem that requires centralizing control over all aspects of life on the planet.
