Then why are you asking a message board poster? Oh, that’s right, that’s all you get from KBLB and KT also. Don’t know why you expect something from one side and not the other also.

Clearly TRUISM was speaking to the issue of consistent commercial scale production. You know, the thing they keep trying to accomplish and then fail at? Over and over.

KBLB had a pilot production program last year, they signed up a silkworm farm to produce and then … things didn’t go so well. Some unspecified quantity was produced. From all appearances, production was stopped. We will find out more from the 10-Q, which may show an increase in the silk in their inventory. If there is no change in the amount of silk inventoried, it will be obvious that another quarter came and went without any production.

Right now the farm is raising two parent lines of silkworms that will be mated to produce generation 1 hybrids. If they had sufficient parents from the first batch of eggs, the Gen1 hybrids should be producing silk right now. If not, it will be another two months before news of silk production arrives.

What will we hear if the parent strains are not viable in Vietnam? More crickets, I suppose.
