If you really think commercial level production was expected 15 years ago I’d recommend brushing up on the history books you are so fond of.
It’s nice, as an over dramatization, to try and roll everything up together, but it takes a bit more effort to understand steps have been taken, mistakes have been made and learned from, as the company continues its efforts to accomplish something no one else ever has.
Yep, taking longer than many had hoped, but the company continues to advance vs staying mired in wringing their hands over the past.
What’s done is done. If they pull this off, I’ll spend vey little time worrying about what happened in the past to get there. I’ll leave that for others.
