Not sure what you mean. One cannot short a stock unless they have sufficient equity or margin buying power to do so. And the comment was with regard to Citadel. They have plenty of money and likely don't give a rat's ass what happens with AMC/APE. They have much more important things to deal with and bigger fish to fry. The notion that Citadel or very many othjer players in the investment world watch or care about AMC/APE is total nonsense.
