This IS getting laughable. The CEO needs the BOD to allow the CEO to announce a perspective deal to the stockholders??? Really, she has to ask for permission??? What is her position of CEO and what duties does she hold that needs permission from the BOD to communicate to the stockholders. The BOD (in professionally run companies) appoints the CEO. And who exactly IS the BOD? Family and sales leader? No, if this is true, I cannot believe that any investor would take this management serious anymore and it really is not worth discussing any further. WOW!
