Putz: I do not believe this is even an issue. I am not aware of any brokerage in the US that will allow short sales on OTC stocks or stocks selling below $1. TD Ameritrade has confirmed for me that NIOBF is not a security that may be shorted so I need not worry about whether any of my substantial holding of shares may be lent out, even though we have a margin account.
