IMO MJLink "acquisition" was just a load of crap because Ken didn't have anything with weight to give to shareholders.

I think this is the correct take on the announcement of a sale. The odd thing is that Ken is not a dumb guy. I've been involved in being acquired as well as acquiring. Never heard of telling shareholders that there was a pending sale before a price was determined. How would that possibly help your position in the negotiation of the sales price?
