Yes Acyclovir is also good against Shingles / Chickenpox as it is the same Family-Virus, but against this also "Shingrix-Vaccine" is available to do by 2 Doses 2-6 Months apart und will cause some stronger Sideeffects for 2-3 Days than usually at Vaccines and every 4 Years should been repeated. Persons of 50 or older Years should have that Vaccine !

It's also very good against Ticks-Bittes from Nature or Garden, as I can tell.
