The medallion signature guarantee is something that you get from your banking institution (PNC, Chase Bank, Bank of America etc. Many credit unions also do medallion signature.
It’s a special stamp & signature from a financial institution that verifies you are who you say you are and that you have an account that the securities, proceeds from securities will be transferred to.
This is the next step once you sign the docs and send in Statement of ownership of shares (LAHO).
