I would suppose a few of us in the DC area can attend the hearing if the courts are open to the public when the hearing takes place.

Whether or not the courts allow filming - I can't answer that. I am assuming if they do - it would need to be by court approved cameras as cellphones should be turned off (or altogether not allowed) in the courtroom.

No spectators’ cameras allowed in CAFC courtrooms without advance permission of the court. I don’t think that rule has changed. My I-phone was always “confiscated” by the court’s marshals on the 1st floor after I retrieved the rest of my possessions from the airport-like conveyor belt at the entry door.

The court itself does film/record each argument for subsequent playback by visitors. That feature was extended to contemporaneous playback.
