And who funds the government. THE PEOPLE AND CORPORATIONS through taxes!

Surely you don't think the rich and big corporations are paying enough, do you?

And if the government decides not to pay for something or underpays, companies raise prices elsewhere.

Big pharma is already doing that. They will keep selling drugs if we reduce the amount they get paid because the US is their biggest market. They will just be making a bit less on those sales so may have top reduce stock buybacks, prices they pay for buyouts and executive compensation.

This country’s debt burden is absolutely awful and with the majority of it being held by foreign interests, wiping the slate clean is not an option. These chickens will come home to roost at some point and it’s going to be incredibly ugly.

So then why are you against trying to reduce spending on drug payments?
