Capn: the same Brazil where Malcolm and Dennis (our Texans in the energy field, with Winston & Strawn) liked to travel to.
C'mon, what are the chances of that all being a coincidence?
Really.
STATEMENT FROM THE CEO
January 7 , 2002
As each New Year begins, I reflect on the events and people of the past twelve months to keep me in touch with what is really important and to provide perspective for the New Year. Foremost, the events and aftermath of September 11 have changed the United States and the world, perhaps forever. Certainly, the lives of countless families around the world have been impacted forever, some for new freedoms being experienced, but all for the losses suffered. Freedom has a price. We should never forget those who paid the price, even to the ultimate sacrifice of their lives. In a different context, the ultimate sacrifice paid for potential freedom is why Christmas is so special to millions around the world today.
This past year has brought great changes in my life. First leaving the security of an established career in February, going on a mission trip to Brazil in March, taking responsibility for newly formed CDEX in late July and marshalling CDEX’s acquisition of technology from Loch Harris in early August. Since late July, the CDEX Team published a new Web Site, including four CEO Statements, nine comprehensive Test Reports, and four Press Releases. This is more communications than many companies provide in a year, and we are not even a public company yet. We have established our practice of issuing notice of specific events impacting the company and general information regarding our direction.
BTW, note that P4316 wrote on RB in February of 2001 that Loch-Harris had already "brought on board a senior DC lawyer from a prominent firm" - although when pressed he denied he knew that it was him.
