New Headquarters, New Business Opportunities for CDEX with Assistance from TREO
- CDEX will use TREO’s BusinessLINC program to identify local business partners -
(January 19, 2007) – CDEX Inc. today announces its plans to use TREO’s BusinessLINC program in order to identify local vendors and business partners for the company, which recently announced plans to relocate its headquarters from Rockville, Maryland to Tucson. The public company, a developer of chemical detection and validation devices, will consolidate all of its administrative and corporate functions in early 2007 to its office at 4555 S. Palo Verde Road, which currently houses the company’s research and development laboratory.
The company’s move to Tucson triggers a need for locally sourced professional services, and TREO’s BusinessLINC program has proven to be a perfect match to assist CDEX in identifying those services.
“We appreciate the assistance TREO is providing CDEX as we consolidate business operations to Tucson,” said Tim Shriver, interim President and CEO for CDEX. “We have been very pleased with the productive relationships we have with our Tucson -based suppliers. We are a lean company and have outsourced manufacturing of our ValiMed healthcare product to Tucson-based Mastek-Innerstep and TAG Engineering. Through assistance from TREO’s BusinessLINC, CDEX found several additional Tucson-based companies who were also awarded contracts for the ValiMed supply chain including Schnipke Southwest, Anderson Painting, The Metal Man, and Whitmark Packaging.”
TREO’s BusinessLINC program focuses primarily on increasing awareness of the products and services available throughout Southern Arizona and seeks to identify new sales opportunities for local small businesses. BusinessLINC's comprehensive and interactive database profiles the capabilities of regional businesses and provides online searchable access for matching buyer needs with listed seller capabilities and products. Since beginning operations in July 2005, TREO has generated $4.7 million in sales for local companies through BusinessLINC.
“Becoming the headquarters for a prestigious technology company will boost Tucson’s reputation nationally,” said Lee Smith, Sr. Vice President, Business Development for TREO. “TREO is pleased to help facilitate CDEX’s move to Tucson through assistance from our BusinessLINC program.”

Captain, it appears that you are for blasting the damn crooks out of the hair of Poteete and TIM, and the resident Doctor, and let them operate in an honest way.

One may hope that you are right. For the sake of the honest and long-suffering shareholders.

Get that damn bunch of crooks out of the way.. and give them a chance, huh?? They gotta have some bread, though. and they have a bagful of history of their own to overcome.

D'ya think they can do it??

That is the only chance.

capnmike..."and the company will have Tim Shriver as interim CEO"

Then maybe you can explain why MP ran the last meeting when he's a mere consultant? Why wasn't Tim running the meeting? He's been with the company and the day to day operations over the last year while MP had been supposedly been gone for a year. Doesn't quite make sense, does it?

Personally I have never heard of a consultant running a shareholders meeting to start with. Then to think the CEO was there but sat on the sidelines. After all the info surfacing over the past few weeks, it makes one question what the heck is going on. Who is really running the show. I don't think it's Tim!

"I continue to hold my entire position (underwater, but never owned more, never had more dollars at risk)."

Not too smart falling in love with a sub-penny Scamco.

"Next week, for the first time in CDEX history, the company will be operated from the same location as the lab, and the company will have Tim Shriver as interim CEO."

So. Irrelevent.

"This means, for the very first time EVER, the CEO's name is on the issued patents and the patent applications."

So. Irrelevent.

Yawn... very weak and desperate sounding argument. No need to comment further. The fact that you allowed your "life savings" (TM- Capnmike) to dwindle away in a penny Scamco establishes your investment savvy more than any of your advertising rhetoric.

End of story.

Why I have high hopes for my CDEX investment.

Effective November 7, 2005, CDEX Inc. ("the Company") entered into a strategic
distribution agreement ("Agreement) with Baxa Corporation ("Baxa"). The
Agreement provides for Baxa to be the exclusive distributor of CDEX's
ValiMed(TM) solution for medication verification for healthcare organizations in
the United States and Canada. Based on market experience and knowledge gained in
2006, the parties entered into an Amendment to Reseller Agreement ("Amendment)
effective January 30, 2007 to strengthen their relationship and the distribution
of Valimed (TM).
The Amendment specifies the base pack of drug signatures to be
installed on Valimed(TM) units and provides a process and terms for additional
signatures, provides a fixed schedule for delivery, and waives Baxa's purchase
requirements to maintain distribution exclusivity.
