Board members are also human beings. It is possible someone needed the cash for whatever reason. I do not believe selling a portion of Anavex had anything to do with a negative slant on the future. In fact, the Company has been more detailed than ever before about their trial success to date, and the price of the stock has risen substantially from the 5's and 6's to around $13. Stock Analysts have upped their targets to both $20 and $25!!

I read a long time ago in a discussion of insider selling "There are a thousand reasons for selling and only one reason for buying." I have used that thought to maintain perspective on insiders trading.

If there were several directors selling then I would pay attention to that, but just one, not so much.
