i had another stock in the same situation recently, when i called they said that the reason you could only sell and not buy was someone had hacked into someones account and bought and sold a whole bunch of shares so they only allow sales ( which on about 100 levels makes no sense ) but it certainly impedes getting stock - hence the bitch about e trade taking 3 hrs to answer their flipping phone...

EXACTLY. I don't understand why this platform is deciding to stop purchases on these stocks. A LOT of people are angry. They're getting tons of flack on social media.
