Whoa up there Paule! That's quite an esoteric explanation you have there and worthy of Freudian examination no doubt, but I can almost guarantee with certainty, myself and no one I know is suffering from this.
Most civilizations have good and bad things about them. As modern people living in fairly advanced societies examine their colonization and exploitation of other cultures they realize that it was harsh and cruel. No turning back the hands of time or restoring what was. Just learning lessons and trying not to repeat mistakes as we hopefully move forward into a kinder, gentler world would be nice. Too much to ask for I guess. Man's inhumanity to man will most likely continue in obvious and hidden paths until all is lost.
