Yes, typically Nov-Dec is the season and stocks that are down and flat(ish) are the ones that get hit hard

The upside is that if the longer term prospects are still good (as I believe they are here) a big chunk of the volume sold will come back into the stock as soon as the wash sale time period is satisfied (30 days)
