And crazier yet.....Pfizer has $350b in their bank account. Seems a bit excessive but they can own solid tumor cancer for a BARGAIN of say $200b.

$200b is manageable for several Bio Techs. Not to worry. Linda P. knows this.

Gus,

I believe in most cases our vaccine will add to their market. Remember, we're not curing anywhere near 100% of patients, their drugs will supplement our vaccine and with people living longer, they can sell them more drugs.

The way I view cancer, you don't have the answer until virtually all are being cured. I would like to believe that will happen some day in the future, it won't be in my lifetime, perhaps in the lifetime of my daughters.

For men it's said that if you live long enough you'll get prostate cancer. If you're old enough they may not even treat it as it's so slow growing. If DCVax-Direct is approved, I suspect that it will be used as treatment even if the tumor is operable as if they can simply inject it into the tumor, that may be all that's ever needed. The side effects may be far superior to other prostate cancer treatments.

Cancer is a nasty disease, if you achieve a 5% cure rate, 100% of the people will want the treatment in the hope that they're in the 5%. We may be increasing the odds in GBM from 5% to 20% or more, that still leaves plenty of room for something that works in combination with DCVax-L that take it substantially higher.

I have been lucky enough to get cancer forms that have been curable so far, it's hard to think of being lucky having had all sorts of chemo, etc. but it's luckier than people who've had forms that couldn't be put into remission. Much better not to ever get it at all, perhaps some day they'll be able to do a personalized vaccine that does that.
