Omg! That sounds horrible. One must be in drier straits to be convinced to take that drug. Bucillamine definitely seems like a much safer option, imo. I'm thinking we shall be a contender after the trials commence and data collected. Full steam ahead.

Thank you

Lilly Olumiant seems to have many side affects. Bucillamine may be the safer route.

Olumiant may cause serious side effects. Some people who have taken Olumiant have had:

Serious infections, including tuberculosis (TB), shingles, and others caused by bacteria, fungi, or viruses. Some people have died from these infections. Olumiant can make you more likely to get infections or make them worse. Your doctor should test for TB before starting Olumiant and watch for TB symptoms during treatment. You should not start Olumiant if you have any kind of infection unless your doctor tells you it is okay. While taking Olumiant, tell your doctor right away if you have symptoms of an infection.

Cancer and immune system problems. Olumiant may increase your risk of lymphoma and other cancers, including skin cancers.

Blood clots in the veins of your legs or lungs. This may be life-threatening and cause death. While taking Olumiant, tell your doctor right away if you have any signs and symptoms of blood clots, including swelling, pain or tenderness in the leg, sudden chest pain, or shortness of breath.

So the Pfizer rumor could playout with bucillamine.

RF,

Although i would love for Bucillamine to have that competitive advantage, the reality is these side effects with Lily’s Olumiant RA drug are based on long term use.

With just a short stint, the Lilly drug should be relatively safe.

Are their drugs also in Phase 3 Trials, or just approved for compassionate use in treating Covid???

Great that there is now data showing that rheumatoid arthritis drugs are effective for treating Covid.

Even though they are competitors it's great exposure for Bucillamime by also being the same class of drug, with a better safety profile.

Classic Warrior noticed that the Lily stock barely moved based on the positive news of their drug and the high profile coverage from some major news networks. The warrior is not quite sure to make of that. A lot of things don't seem to make sense to the warrior these days. As a matter of fact, the warrior is ready to throw 2020 out the window. Let's face it. This year sucks. On a positive note, RVVTF has phase 3 COVID trials beginning and a huge opportunity for national exposure next Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. The warrior is as excited for Tuesday as he was for compassionate usage news. Although that hasn't amount to any sustained PPS gains, perhaps Tuesday will be the start of something big. Let's go!!!

ps. One good thing about 2020 is that every morning when the warrior wakes up, he thinks that this could be the day that Revive makes world headlines. He hopes either an emergency usage patient recovers, a grant is offered, the trials show early success or the fat slob living next door to the warrior moves. Any one of the first three would turn 2020 into one of the best years ever.

pps. Number four would salvage the year too.
