Best guess is they contacted it unknowingly from someone they did not suspect had Covid..During the initial viral phase of 4-6 days..patients are asymptomatic..and therefore NOT TESTED for the Corona Virus..During routine office visits we DO NOT Shake hands..DO wear masks..DO wash hands obsessively..BUT...DO NOT use gloves to turn door knobs..You are examining patients at close quarters..!!! AND are not gloved while examining their bodies..!!!It’s a matter of time before MOST doctors WILL get Covid.. !!!
