actually Warren bought Barrick stock symbol GOLD, but gold and silver go together at all times pretty much (but not always for sure)...so he bought not gold, but a gold mining stock.........still, this is a huge positive for the sector...old warren is well past his investing prime, in fact he has become a horrible investor but all he does is get money from retirement accounts, where they basically must invest it...
It is not like the guy can win any investing contest whatsoever, still he is a global opinion leader, and his purchase is good for gold and silver miners, and also for gold and silver the commodities.
