Agreed. However, my ignore list (which has only two entries) is evidently being applied to the wrong posts. The post immediately after mine and the post immmediately after the one to which I replied should be, and are, ignored when my list is turned on. How this gave me access to another's editing (or whether it really did--I didn't try) I couldn't say.
