Charlie Howland did not "appreciate" Kim Thompson's style/manner, of attempting to establish an 'interpersonal' business relationship. I think you also realize, this is not just my humble opinion...some others are well aware of this fact...

Capitalize on your strengths, Mr. thompson...judiciously compensate for your weaknesses...

wisdom(a 'cut-above' IQ), confidence/credibility, common sense, personal skills(with respect,flexibility, appreciation, and some humility)...will accomplish amazing RESULTS...
