STS66, I agree about MLPs


I have worked with the "oil patch" for almost 40 years now

and know which companies have issues and which ones can survive

this type of event, since they have survived other events like this over the years

MLPs "were a thang" for a while and I can vouch they are a pain in the A at tax preparation time

But I am like Dick and Kiwi with their investments in AMRN - I jump in & out of various oil stocks

and yesterday i just had to sell a couple of biotechs (not AMRN)

where I still had small gains in even with the onslaught

and bought a couple of oil & gas stocks that took a huge hit

they had great gains today

but holding on since (I think) something is "in the works" on getting Russia and OPEC back on track within the next month or 2

“Don’t buy oil stock”....disagree. I sold a portion of Amrn holdings a few weeks ago and now buying oil stocks...same thing I did when Amrn was in the 2’s...and supposedly didn’t have a prayer.
