China and its people will be fine. Very sad for those who have lost loved ones. Far from apocalyptic though. Virus is stabilizing and % of deaths per infection outside China remain minuscule. I am not a fan of communism and dictatorships but in the case of containing this outbreak Xi is doing well imo.

Well, not to be alarmed but your type is the type who goes first in an epidemic like this. China has so many people that nature inevitably unleashes diseases like this. I'm sure the government has plans for this kind of situations and implementation of these plans are in progress. Keep your head calm and stick to the plan. The beauty of natural selection. =)

The is not the influenza outbreak of 1918. There’s however a business market malaise for the region in effect. Containment vs contagion is the subject at hand. The CCP is on it as we dialogue. $KWBT$

lived there for ten years and talk daily with friends that live in many different parts of the country.. a lot of good hard working people working in those facotries, sevice industries and construction many are laid off now and with not a nickel saved and no back up.. its day to day one bowl of rice to the next. food is work...i lived with a guy who did ten years for armed robbery. he got out of prison and his sister asked if he could come live with us and i learned so much... i got to know his whole family so i know the struggle from the ground up ....hardest working people i ever met...except for maybe my mom and dad.....i had great relationships with local government agencies for the service and outreach work i did with migrant communities. they have no margins and there are still 900 million people that have still not found a foothold in the cash consumption society that they all want.. they want the american dream ..they want the liquidity of a cash society. i wish they hadn't built and automobile based economy and i dont think building super urban centers were a good policy decision as it has divorced the Chinese from their relationship with the soil and now they all live in the sky in these incredibly monstrous housing complexes. i photographed it all..10 terrabytes. mostly did my work at night. the logistics of 1,4 billion face to face in real time is bigger than your imagination can embrace. its unbelievable...and my ten years were ten lifetimes...but im home for family.. but when my work is done here god willing i will go back.. and one more thing..people think they are free in america but they mistake comfort and pleasure for freedom.. americ is a far more dangerous police state than china. america is a 5 star hamster cage... china is as about a "lawless" a place you could ever live in but this "lawlessness" is not chaotic it is based more on a live and let live ethic that in a very complicated way creates an order that is complex and accommodating. of course tibet and Muslim populations i will not try to white wash just ssaying i never saw a cop in ten years that ever gave me a hard time... and i did whatever i wanted..went anywhere i wanted to go with my camera at all hours of the night .. the highlight of my life.
