It was up around $11~ a share until just a few days before the news of this “report” came out.

I haven’t looked at the short position of the stock but I’m sure that SOME people knew about the report before news of it surfaced and I’ll bet that the short position increased - probably that’s what started its current slide.

It had NOTHING to do with GE’s metrics. The company even increased guidance after the last 10Q news! The stock price was fluctuating but overall, was starting to increase.
