#2346 RE: derkampfer #2344

Edit I forgot the merchandise advance

Here is what I'm thinking, the Q1 report will clear any misconceptions I have.

$2 million for S1 LL
$3 million for S2 LL
$3.6 million for S1 RR
$0.8 million for DVD/digital RR & LL
$3.2 million for merchandise advances

I found this article that says an average Netflix deal is cost plus 30%. An average broadcast deal is usually 60-70% of cost.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/08/15/netflix-cost-plus-model-tv-shows-revenue-upside.html

I'm assuming the recurring cost to carry LL S1 is 60% of cost ($4.5/1.3*0.6).

I'm assuming that Nick Jr. is paying 60% of cost of RR

I'm also assuming about 50,000 seasons of RR and LL are sold, total.

Edit
It could be that revenue for LL S2 will be booked in 2020.
It looks like GNUS did not book any money from S1 of RR in 2018, even though they delivered at least 10 episodes that aired in 2018.
