That’s some major company. The only successful organization I’ve ever partnered up with is the IRS.

While I hate to know you had to deal with the IRS but that was one funny line!!!
To be clear, I wasn't in with the Colonel when he owned KFC. This was after he sold out to John Y. Brown and then Hublein took it over. The Colonel did a lot of TV with me promoting the March of Dimes. I used to host the regional two day telethon here every year on a regionalized telecast and he would come on as a guest.

He had already retired with his millions and even at an advanced age he was still wanting to do something because he was bored. I loved being with him. He was a hoot. When he would mess up while reading the teleprompter with me in a shared promo (he had poor vision at that time) he would stop reading and cuss up a blue streak. "You're gonna have to move that damned thing closer to me!!!" These were promos we were putting in the can for the upcoming broadcast. Thank goodness it wasn't live TV!
