#18126 RE: semi_infinite #18125

Thanks for the comments and link semi_infinite. There are some MAJOR trends developing here and I don't think oil will benefit, long run.

1. Electric cars
2. Driverless cars
3. More public transportation. I am hearing the new term "Peak Cars" lately, lol.
4. More condo's less single family homes--This is a new one to me.Smaller homes, less energy use? I saw a video about that Thursday and today in my local paper>>>>>

5. Vegetable protein based meat replacement. Hey, a lot of grain is wasted growing animals for food. Protein is transferred from the gains to the animal. More grain will initially be needed to make the new plant protein product, but much less grain needed to grow cows and pigs for two years, thus less grains overall needed to develop the same amount of protein. Thus, less farming, less energy needed
6. It sure sounds like the forces that be are working hard to not only control population, but actually educe it. I won't get into the Alex Jones stuff here, lol, but believe it is possible, thus less oil needed.
7. So much info on alternative energy and growing.
