"In November 2016, Li led Eontec to a controlling 46 percent stake in California-based Liquidmetal Technologies Inc". As far as I know EONTEC does not own shares in LQMT LF. Lugee Li owns 46% through his wholly owned HK holding company. As far as I know EONTEC does not have shares in that holding company either. I also understood that Li helped finance that acquisition by selling some of his shares in EONTEC. True, he said that he might transfer those shares to EONTEC once LQMT LF becomes profitable.

But the inference in a couple of posts today is that EONTEC really controls everything (including Li and the maze) and as we know the Chinese State controls EONTEC.

Is that the case?

Monday Morning Quarterback part 2:

I believe 2017 will mark the beginning of a golden era of the amorphous metals industry.

—Li Yangde (Lugee)

I believe I would like more to believe in than hopes, dreams, and well meaning, but largely unsubstantiated forecasts. Nevertheless, I remain hopelessly in the column of the believers.
