IDC how you want to look at it, "cause" or not. Companies that perform a r/s generally perform worse than those that don't. Is that more indicative of their fundamentals than the r/s itself, probably. It doesn't change the point being made. I hope if they are forced to do a r/s that they have earthshattering news to report right afterwards, for all our sakes...
