I also believe that Scanbuy is telling NEOM to "let's wrap this up". Personally, I don't think that getting another "feather" in NEOM's hat will do anything at this point(other than give a little cash up front). I think that their patents have already proven themselves.
I think that the patents Scanbuy had that were tossed out, were all part of the ruse...but now is the time to fold the cards when they know that they can't even make a pair.
I would also think that there must have been some type of acknowledgement(to settle), in order to win Scanbuy some additional funding that they just received. Knowing that NEOM has the high hand...who would want to lend Scanbuy anything? Plus I think that Scanbuy can get better terms now than say a year from now.
Personally, I think that the field is more than big enough for multiple companies. The more the merrier...as long as we're getting revenues from them.
