What else is fake news. A lot of people depend on information shared on message boards, also a lot of people are not known with what is mentioned in a 10k. mixing up the 10k info with fake information, makes it harder for people to know what’s true and isn’t. So unless that’s the goal (which would be fraud IMO) there’s no reason to add it in a way that creates doubt.
