At least your consistent. I don't think your definition of am pyramid scheme is correct. But under your interpretation you could look at every stock as pyramid scheme. For example Amazon was a start up and some friends told some friends who then told the newspaper who then told it's readers who then told their friends while original holders are selling to move on or holding for larger gains.
