Sounds like you have similar genetics to me - very athletic, played sports all year round since I was a little kid, was diagnosed with NAFLD in early 30's at the peak of my fitness level. Haven't had a scan since 2010, which showed it hadn't changed, was stable (~ 16 yrs after the 1st one) - would be interesting to see if V has shrunken the fatty deposits like you saw (good for you!), but insurance won't pay for curiosity - but if my next TG tests show the same shockingly high levels as I just got (730!?!), plus elevated AST/ALT that would probably make it a medical necessity to see what's going on with my #$%*& liver. Sadly, V is not a panacea for everything, not even it's only approved indication, at least in metabolically challenged folks like me - luckily the other nice side effects are still being provided by high dose EPA.
