Well, guess they're probably not on the same switch. I'm downloading from SI at 85K right now. Which doesn't explain why my import program has slowed down so much. It doesn't touch iHub at all. The problem seems to be specific to iHub's webserver or whatever switch it's on at the ISP. And my import program slowness issue would be an entirely separate one.
