So it's still a mystery. According to my info it was John Makdessi, the former owner of Fear the Fighter, who didn't pay his fighters. Eddie Manoian took over from Makdessi in May 2015. The guy you're talking to (Chad right?), was involved with Makdessi.

Before FF listed Nextten as an advertiser/sponsor on the home page, you could find a Fear the Fighter banner on the home page, that linked to Fearthefighter.us.com.

So there are 2 possibilities:
- the real story is not the one Chad is telling you, or
- there are 2 Fear the Fighter companies and the brand is not protected
