#15760 RE: pengy #15758

Pengy, It is not normal for companies to report in PR form when projects have NOT been accomplished. Companies release PR's to report progress. If there is no report that a FPGA has been developed then it is logical to assume that one has not been developed. Is there any reason to believe that one has?

pengy: Re: One thing is that we don't know if the FPGA is done at this time, but you seem to be saying that is is fact that it is not complete at this time. Where did you get that information? What is your source?

You are asking me to prove a negative. I cannot. I can prove that as of the Supercomm letter, we had no FPGA as evidenced by Brad's quote from his Rolodex buddy: The equipment guy concluded the conversation with, "yeah, we're all over it. Can't wait for that FPGA, Brad!"

There has been no news since then, and since the FPGA prototype is a critical step in development, I would imaging that they would announce its completion. But there I go, pseculating again. If we had an FPGA prototype, I would certainly hope that the were not keeping it secret from either shareholders or potential customers.

I refuse to believe that the company is sandbagging. They announce even the most trivial and marginally related information related to the tech. If they had and FPGA, they would have announced it. BTW, that is speculation in case you did not figure that out.

[o]At least in a later paragraph you did say that you were speculating. Finally several paragraphs later.

I noticed that you did not clearly state you were speculating when you said: Since then it is indeed possible for them to have been working on and have a complete FPGA without formally announcing it at this time.

Don't chastise me for not saying I'm speculating. It should be pretty clear to everyone that just about anything anyone says about anything that has to do with the company is speculation. Why do you suppose that is?
