Since they've baited MJ for a while now, I wonder if they have any intentions to operate a business - or, they're just doing "MJ anything" to bait...

Correct. The upside for mcig is they can keep the build out in-house. I personally think they should do it, but I'm not holding my breath. This isn't the first time they've said this. That is why I give it until Sept and then it's just old news.

But, if they do get a license, the pps goes way up. According to their current business model, they should have a major advantage when it comes to planning and build costs. They should be able to do all the planning and recruiting in-house. What's not to like?

Maybe NV will listen the restrictions or open another license application window. Otherwise I don't see MCig getting a license. Especially with the restriction that you must have already had a med mj license and filed taxes previously with that license in order to apply for the rec license. They would pretty much have to buy the entire business that owns a license.
