I am alive because of decisions made by some very awesome Men. My father on or about this date was boarding a ship bound for Japan, the casualty rate was expected to be above 80 percent. I am alive because of that bomb. later on in the 90's I met one of the architects of that weapon. I thanked him and his wife for their service, I am eternally humbled by their sacrifice and service.
