It still don't make sense to me why they had to liquidate everything to Big Lots unless they lost a major contract(s) and the the stores they did have wasn't ordering as often.

I am local and bought a dozen of the low carb DNA drinks from Big Lots. I can tell you exactly why they were liquidated, they were either expired or expiring. There was no expiration dates on the cans, but there WAS a manufactured date and they were all 2+ years old.

I don't know what kind of shelf life energy drinks are legally allowed to have, but 2+ years sounds pushing it a bit to me.
