To me it's not as much a question of did she plagiarize or didn't she. It's more how in the hell did no one in the campaign catch it before she spoke?

This is the most dysfunctional campaign ever and it doesn't bode well for what kind of presidency it will be if Trump is elected IMO.

Of course it doesn't make it right. It is despicable. But I doubt Melanomia had any idea that she was saying lifted words. The only good to come from it is to show the character flaw of the organgutan in his inability to apologize or admit mistakes. We all know someone who doubles down on mistakes. To a commoner, routinely doubling down on mistakes often means prison. To a privileged rich inheritor, it just means an occasional chapter 11 and big money legal overpowering of less wealther vendors, etc. He must pay the mob guys well though, as they are not particularly interested in apologies.
