I believe negotiations on a deal ARE happening and that is why we have heard NOTHING officially. You can't make press releases when a deal is pending or in negotiations. Either this management team is the most incompetent bunch of imbeciles on the face of the earth or they are in the middle of negotiating a deal and just can't say anything now. Let's all hope it is the latter. Anybody who believes this quiet is due to the ongoing investigation really doesn't have a clue.
The fact that talks may be happening does not mean a deal will be consumated. But in my opinion, the longer we hear nothing, the greater the chance a deal is in the works. I will tell you one thing. If I ever find out that all this quiet was NOT due to a possible deal in progress I will probably sell every share I own. One thing I will not tolerate is incompetent management that is unresponsive to shareholder's needs. I certainly hope that is not the case here.
