Well Dave, you'd need to own shares within the company (5%-10% holder perhaps), not 0% like you and perhaps you'd be granted a seat on the board. Perhaps instead of being the outcast or Fly on wall, you'd actually be the one Lorraine says "Yankeedave get up and get me a coffee over at Starbucks and make it an Expresso Macchiatto and please don't screw this up like yesterday and day before, (see one mistake is an accident, 2 mistakes is a habit) also grab Mark, Cheeky, Stockmedic and Hokie their favorites as well, I'm sure they can use a refill, oh and get back while they're still hot!" NOW the sad part, guess what? Yup, by time you hurry on back,(with wrong coffees) you guessed it "Meeting Adjourned" and now once again you'd wish you'd had purchased cheap shares.
(Don't read into this statement, I only hold 2%, so I'm only drinking the greasy spoon or truckers special type coffees for now) ;-)
