Mark, that's what I'm doing. Opening up the floor for suggestions.

I've asked the question would anybody be interested in an ad-free option.

Here, I'll start the thought process. How about a Chairman gets an ad-free version of the site when his board crosses X number of posts. And that's permanent...

And for others, a small fee to be ad-free.

I'm completely open to suggestions. I've already implemented the request to have "IH Ad:" before it.

To you picket liners, could I humbly request that you take the crazy lines out of your signatures?

P.S. A message board system without ANY form of revenues just aint going to cut it. And I know the site isn't large enough or content-rich enough YET to charge a premium fee.

Mark, with all due respect, Matt is not Mother Teresa. I don't think he ever pretended to be.

Although I agree that ads are a pain in the butt, but someone has to pay for the site and for the people that run this place. There are two alternatives:


1) Members pay yearly registration fee.

2) Sponsors flip the costs by advertising on the site.


a third alternative is:

3) Site should be free and contain no ads.

This last alternative is not viable unless Matt is running for Sainthood.

Mark, which alternative would you choose.
