I was here at that point and hardly believe it was groundless. They let investors believe that everything was going fine and there would be approval. Have you read FDA's scathing report? Basically it said this was a waste of time and money. You didn't even follow our guidelines. I saw some posts from knowledgeable people suggesting they never saw such a put-down of a company.
The victims of the faulty trial ought to sue as it may have interfered with their treatment, but I'm sure they signed a form relieving AEZS of liability.
