So why should you reward them by handing over even more money which will vanish in their pockets?

It's people's thinking like this that makes a RS dumping scheme worth the trouble. Investors thinking they can average down only help those crooks become even richer. With plenty of room to dilute, they are laughing their way to the bank.

And you never know when they will execute the next RS!

Find another company, CB. This is a rabbit hole. When is enough enough?

After the RS wipes most people out of the stock the share price will sink again. The only thing that will make you whole is performance by the company, and that does not mean PRs.

Future performance is, indeed, indicated by performance.
